Anissa is a fellow blogger, and a friend to a great many.  She is a woman who walks into a room and, without much effort, is the center of attention. She is very smart… and very bawdy.  She does not play games. She tells you when something is on her mind. She unfollowed me twice on Twitter already and then followed me again! She is all about saying hell with the rules! I danced with her at BlogHer, and she turned me into a disco-dancing John Travolta.
35-year-old wife and mother of three, Anissa Mayhew, suffered a stroke yesterday and remains in ICU.   My thoughts and prayers are with Anissa and her entire family.
To help Anissa and her family, especially if you are in the Atlanta area, please go here.
I don’t know Anissa, but I know OF her through you and other friends. I’ve been praying since last night.
I can’t believe this happened to her so young. Really weird.
I don’t know Anissa, but am sending out thoughts and prayers to her, her family, and friends.
Coming from Amy Lalala ….just want put down that thoughts are with Anissa and her family here in France…bonne chance & bonne courage!!
Wow, there but for the grace of God go I. In Sept I had a heart op because I had two blockages in the main chamber of the heart, one at 80% and one at 90%. The dr argued with me for a week before I would let him do the operation. That could have very easily have been me with the stroke. Anissa and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. She is far too young to go this soon and has so much more of life to live.
Oh, gosh. I’m so sorry. Heart goes out to her and her family.
She’s so young. My mom had a stroke at 43 and I thought that was really young. I hope she pulls through.
I don’t know Anissa, but yes I have a condition that puts me at a high risk of stroke and I live in the shadow of that fear. My father had a major stroke shortly after he retired and it changed everything for him, for my family. He never fully recovered.
Thoughts with Anissa. Stroke can hit at any age.
I don’t know Anissa but will pray for her tonight.

So, so very sorry to read about this. She’s young, though, and she’s got children–moms will fight through hell and high water for their children–she’s got a lot going for her. And prayers. Mine will be among them.
That is so sudden and so scary, what happened. I’ll be praying for her and her family.
I live in a teeny tiny corner of the blogosphere…yet Anissa’s situation is colliding with every little bit of it. I don’t know her personally, but the universe is telling me something.
I’m not a praying person usually, but tonight I will be praying for her.
